The Fremont football team fell in a lopsided game against Reed City 56-7 in a CSAA Gold matchup on Friday night.

Reed City jumped out early and held a 14-0 lead at the end of the first quarter.

Late in the second quarter Reed City increased its lead to 35-0.

The Packers (0-3) scored their lone touchdown of the night with a minute left in the first half when quarterback Caleb Koomen found Riley Krim from 15 yards out.

Reed City tacked on three more touchdowns n the second half.

Koomen threw for 69 yards, while Parker Dalson was the leading receiver with two receptions for 39 yards.

Kane Widing led the Packers on defense with 12 tackles.

Fremont will host Big Rapids next week.
