The Fruitport volleyball team captured a big O-K Black Conference victory on Tuesday by downing Mona Shores in four sets.

After dropping the first set 24-26, the Trojans came back with wins in the last three – 25-11, 25-21, and 25-18.

Kelly Oberlin and Jordyn Carlyle led the offense with 12 kills apiece while Rachel Paulsen chipped in 10. On defense, Oberlin came up big with five blocks.

Trinity Busscher led the Trojans with 23 digs with Chloe Kern added 16.

The win puts Fruitport at 15-8-2 overall and 4-1 in the conference. The Trojans will compete in the Power League Tournament this Saturday at Grand Rapids Christian.
