The Holton football team fell to Morley-Stanwood on Friday night 41-7 in a CSAA conference battle.

Trailing 14-0 in the second quarter, Holton’s Brett McLaughlin scampered into the end zone for a touchdown to cut the deficit to 14-7.

Morley Stanwood tacked on one more score and led 21-7 at halftime.

Holton was held scoreless during the second half while allowing 20 unanswered points.

Derrick Pouch led the Red Devils on the ground with 10 rushes for 56 yards while McLaughlin added nine carries for 21 yards and the lone touchdown.

Mclaughlin and Pouch also led the way on defense with 10 and seven tackles, respectively.

Holton fell to 2-3 on the season.
