Improving Spring Lake soccer team gets over .500 with an 8-0 win over West Catholic

The Spring Lake soccer team, which got off to a slow start this season, got over the .500 mark with an 8-0 win over Grand Rapids West Catholic on Thursday in O-K Blue Conference action.

Mulachi Mulder, Rob Hartliep and Max White scored three goals apiece for the Lakers. Tom Fine and Eli Denslow added single tallies.

Spring Lake goalkeeper Adam Boes collected the shutout in the mercy-rule shortened game.

Spring Lake is now 5-4-1 overall and 4-1 in the O-K Blue.
