After falling behind by a set, the Muskegon Community College volleyball team roared back to win the next three and defeat nationally-ranked Kellogg Community College on Thursday in conference action.

The set scores were 19-25, 25-21, 25-21, 25-15.

Robbie Berg and Julie Brown paced the MCC kill attack with 17 and 13, respectively. Katie Veihl had 45 assists, while Brown served three aces and Veihl had two.

Defensively, Sammi Hockstra compiled 26 digs for the Jayhawks while Brown had four blocks.

The Jayhawks are now 7-9 overall but 5-1 in conference play. They are in second place in the Michigan Community College Athletic Association Western Conference, one game behind Grand Rapids CC.
