Ludington boys soccer squad cruises past Muskegon Catholic in a Lakes 8 contest

The Ludington boys soccer team shut out Muskegon Catholic 8-0 on Thursday in a Lakes 8 conference match.

Caleb Schoon, Lynn Richard and Ben Knoer each scored two goals to lead the Orioles while Will Flewelling and Connor Schummer had a goal apiece.

Richard chipped in with two assists to lead the way for Ludington.

Ludington’s goalkeeper Kyle Wendt stopped all three shots faced.

The Orioles, who are now 5-2-2 on the season and 1-0 in conference play, will host Montague on Saturday.
