Matt Felt paces Shelby over Grant in a non-league boys soccer game

Matt Felt’s two-goal performance led the Shelby boys soccer team to a non-conference victory over Grant 3-1 on Thursday night.

Felt scored both goals in the first half off of assists from Nick Eisenlohr.

Miguel Cisneros scored Grant’s lone goal in the first half to make the game 2-1 heading into halftime.

In the second half, Cody Sheelhouse sealed the game for Shelby that was assisted by Thomas Carey.

Shelby’s goalkeeper Nick Felt stopped six of seven shots on goal.

The win puts Shelby at 8-8-1 on the year and its WMC record is 1-3-1 so far this season.
