The Muskegon Community College volleyball team traveled to Lake Michigan College Thursday and came home with a three set victory.

The Jayhawks won with scores of 25-17, 25-18, and 25-17.

Muskegon currently sits at 7-1 in the Michigan Community College Athletic Association, good for second place in the western conference, one game behind Grand Rapids.

Robbie Berg led the Jayhawks with 15 kills, five aces, and seven digs while Delaney Bennett added six kills. Katie Veihl had 26 assists, four aces, and four blocks for Muskegon while Shelby Rasch led with 13 digs.

Muskegon will next travel to Parkland College this weekend where they’ll face number one ranked Parkland, number nine ranked Kirkwood, number 15 ranked McHenry, and division one college John A. Logan.
