North Muskegon uses doubles sweep to beat Fremont 5-3 in boys’ tennis

North Muskegon’s dominant doubles lineup had a clean sweep on Wednesday, leading  the Norse to a 5-3 victory over Fremont in varsity tennis.

Brennan McManus and Tommy Schanhals (No. 1 doubles), Ben Hogan and Sean Lynn (No. 2 doubles), Andrew Koman and Tyler Newhouse (No. 3 doubles) and Jared DeMint and Ricky Johnson (No. 4 doubles) all won straight-set matches for North Muskegon.

Max Tyson (No. 4 singles) also posted a victory for the Norse.

Winners for Fremont were Cole Hudson (No. 1 singles), Gage Guzman (No. 2 singles) and Tyler Schubert (No. 3 singles).
