The Oakridge soccer team finished second at the Hanover-Horton tournament on Saturday.

In their first game, the Eagles played Leslie to a 2-2 draw, then won in an overtime shootout on goals by Brenden Thiele, Jared Holter, Bayly Ehnen and Nathan Barber. Goalkeeper Brandon Jones made two key saves in the shootout.

In Game 2, Glenn May scored twice for the Eagles while Thiele added one to give Oakridge a 3-0 win over Hanover-Horton. Jared Holter had an assist. The Oakridge defensive back line ofBarber, Holter, Isiac Dailey and Mason Wever did not allow a shot on goal.

The Eagles lost to Hillsdale in the third game to finish the day 2-1.
