The Whitehall football squad hammered host Hart on the ground and through the air in a 40-0 West Michigan Conference victory on Friday.

The Vikings scored 21 first quarter points and held a 34-0 lead at the half.

Justin Brown connected with Terrell Harris on a 63-yard strike to start the Whitehall scoring.

Tylor Russell (one-yard run) and Josh Thommen (two yards) finished off the first quarter scoring for the Vikings.

Thommen added another TD from eight yards out, while Brown found Harris again, this time for a 76-yard score, in the second quarter.

Russell finished off the scoring with a nine-yard score in the third, and finished the game with 115 yards rushing on eight carries.

Thommen added 113 yards on 15 carries, Brown was 5 of 9 passing for 174 yards and Harris caught four passes for 159 yards.

The Vikings, now 2-1, finished with 449 total yards and held the Pirates to 73 yards.
