The Fruitport football team was shut out 28-0 by Jenison on Friday in OK-Black Conference action.

The Trojans trailed 14-0 at halftime before two third quarter Jenison touchdowns sealed the outcome.

Kyle Nott paced Jenison with 127 yards rushing and two touchdowns on 12 carries while also throwing for 77 yards and one touchdown on 6-of-9 passing. Benny Dieterle added 107 yards on 15 carries.

Jakob Carlisle led Fruitport with 96 yards rushing on 15 carries. He also completed 5 of 11 passes for 83 yards.  Ethan Flores caught two passes for 58 yards. Parker Tawney ran for 52 yards on 10 carries.

Tawney and Crue Cooper led the Trojans defense with 9 and 8 tackles, respectively.

Fruitport is now 2-5 overall and 1-3 in conference play.
