Felt’s goal gives Shelby a narrow 1-0 victory over Hart in Division 3 soccer districts

The Shelby soccer team secured a narrow 1-0 victory over rival Hart on Monday in a Division 3 district tournament game.

Shelby’s Matt Felt broke a scoreless tie with a goal about 13 minutes into the second half. Ryan Rabe assisted on the goal.

Shelby goalkeeper Nick Felt collected the shutout by making four saves.

The Tigers advance to Wednesday’s district semifinals against Montague at Hart High School. The winner will advance to Saturday’s district championship game.
