The Grand Haven volleyball team went 0-2 Thursday night in the first round of the O-K Red Conference tournament.

The Bucs struggled early on, losing in three sets to Hudsonville by scores of 12-25, 23-25 and 18-25. They bounced back against Caledonia, going the full five sets, but came up short in the end by scores of 25-21, 26-28, 12-25, 25-23 and 13-15.

Olivia Boeve came up big for the Bucs with 32 kills and chipped in five aces. Baby Kang and Ashley Slater saved a lot of possessions for the Bucs with 26 digs apiece.

Grand Haven is now 30-18 on the season
