The Holton football team led early before falling to Lakeview, 42-21, in CSAA Silver action on Friday.

The Red Devils took a 7-6 lead after one quarter but fell behind 20-7 by halftime.

Brent McLaughlin paced Holton with 168 yards on 12 carries and two touchdowns, while Aaron Herron recorded a rushing touchdown.

Zack Hogan led the defense with 13 tackles, while Herron tallied 12.

Holton falls to 3-4 overall and 2-3 in the conference.
