PEAK Training Academy is hosting a special wrestling clinic Saturday Oct. 14 at its downtown Muskegon location for high school and middle schoolers.

The clinic will be led by Grand Haven assistant wrestling coach Jeremy Wiebenga, who is the former head coach at Treasure Coast High School in Florida. Wiebenga helped transform the school’s struggling wrestling program into a powerhouse.

Two technique sessions will be hosted at PEAK’s facility in the Annex building next to the L.C. Walker Arena. There will also be a mental edge workshop and a conditioning workshop.

The six-hour clinic will run from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and the registration fee is $50. Discounts are available for teams of 10 or more. Wrestlers will receive a PEAK t-shirt and lunch at the clinic.

Wrestlers are asked to bring a change of clothes, water bottle, wrestling gear and are encouraged to eat breakfast before the clinic starts.
