The Ravenna volleyball team came from behind to grab an exciting five-set victory over Grand Rapids Covenant Christian in non-league action on Tuesday.

The Bulldogs won the first set 25-21, lost the next two (25-20 and 25-14), then found the strength to fight back and win the last two sets, 30-28 and 15-10.

Amber Jacobs led the way for Ravenna with 25 kills and Megan Crowley had 40 assists.

Defensively, Amber Jacobs recorded 24 digs and Katelyn VanderWoude had four blocks.

Ravenna is now 18-12-1 on the season, heading into Saturday’s West Michigan Conference tournament.
