The Whitehall volleyball team nailed down the West Michigan Conference championship with three victories on Saturday in the conference tournament.

The Vikings beat Hart 25-13,25-15 and Shelby 25-22,23-25,15-9, before downing  Ravenna 26-34,25-15, 18-25, 25-22 in the tournament finals.

Abby Seeger and Allysyn Grams led the Vikings with  86 and 76 kills, respectively. Katelyn Goodrich had 271 assists, and GIanna Megna served 22 aces and had 154 digs.

Whitehall won the conference title by finishing 10-1 in the regular season standings, then winning the tournament.

Ravenna  finished 2-1 on the day, defeating North Muskegon (27-25, 18-25, 15-10) and Montague (25-20, 22-25, 15-11) before losing to Whitehall.

Amber Jacobs led the Bulldogs with 48 kills, 25 digs, and six blocks while Megan Crowley had 58 assists, 12 kills, and five aces. Macy Jacobs had 37 digs for Ravenna while Annalise Postema added 14 kills.

Montague defeated Shelby (22-25, 25-23, 15-6), Oakridge (25-23, 25-21)  and Mason County Central (25-9, 25-18), but lost to Ravenna (20-25, 25-22, 11-15).

Allyssa Bobian led the Wildcats with 47 kills, 11 aces and 42 digs while Brooklyn Schneider added 19 killls. Morgan Roesler had 58 digs for Montague while Maddy Wynn had 32 digs. Summer Garwood had 100 assists on the day.

Hart was paced by Hailey Westerbeek with 10 kills while Yasmine Colon and Camryn Lound each chipped in with nine.

Landry Tate paced the Pirates defensively with 20 digs.
