The Western Michigan Christian volleyball squad posted a 1-1 record on Monday in a tri-match at home.

The Warriors defeated Ludington by service scores of 25-11 and 25-18, then fell to Shelby by scores of 16-25 and 13-25.

Anna Sytsema and Claudia Kingma paced WMC with nine kills each while Chloe Mitchell added six.

The Warriors were led defensively by Meghan Heiss with 15 digs while Abby Summerfield had seven.

Mitchell chipped in with 30 assists for WMC.

The Warriors are now 26-23-1 on the season.
