Evan Fles tallied four goals as Western Michigan Christian cruised past Muskegon Catholic 9-0 in its Division 4 boys soccer district opener on Monday.

The Warriors mercied MCC with all nine of their goals coming in the first half.

Owen Alfree and Tommy Tencate each posted a goal and an assist for WMC. Charlie Alfree, Jordan Wisniewski and Josh Boyink each had goals.

Chandler Breit had two assists and Adam VanHoeven had oneĀ assist in the Warrior victory.

WMC is now 18-2 on the season and advances to face North Muskegon on Wednesday in the semifinals at 6:45 p.m.
