The Western Michigan Christian volleyball squad won all three of its matches on Thursday at a quad-match in Newaygo.

The Warriors defeated Central Montcalm (25-11, 25-11), Newaygo (25-17, 25-20) and Muskegon Catholic.

WMC (22-18-1) was paced by Aubrey Goorman with 18 kills, while Anna Sytsema added 24 digs and Chloe Mitchell chipped in with 76 assists.

MCC also competed well during the quad-match, posting a 2-1 record.

The Crusaders defeat Newaygo (26-24 and 25-7) and Central Montcalm (16-25, 25-20 and 15-12), then fell to Western Michigan Christian (25-22, 15-25 and 9-15).

Zoie Price led MCC’s squad with 26 kills and an impressive nine blocks while Amelia Heminger chipped in with 68 assists.

Maria Sanocki contributed with 23 digs and Lauren Doriot had 15 kills as well for the Crusaders.

Muskegon Catholic Improves to 20-12 overall and 3-1 in conference play.
