Montague boys basketball rolls past Ravenna in West Michigan Conference action

Montague boys basketball rolled past Ravenna, 57-41, in a West Michigan Conference tilt Thursday.

The Wildcats built a halftime lead that the Bulldogs couldn’t overcome.

Sebastian Archer drained five 3-pointers and scored a game-high 21 points for Montague. Hunter Mosher dropped in 15 points and pulled down eight rebounds while Luke Marsh added seven points and 10 rebounds for the Wildcats who improved to 4-0, 2-0 in the WMC.

Ravenna, which falls to 1-1 in conference and 3-1 overall, was led by Josh VanderWoude with 13 points and four rebounds.

Jacob May and Nick Lieffers added 8 points apiece for the Bulldogs.
