The Kent City girls basketball squad nailed 13 three-pointers, leading to a 62-33 win over Lakeview in a CSAA league game on Friday.

The Eagles, who are now 7-2 on the season and 3-0 in league play, led 30-13 at halftime and 54-25 through three quarters.

Kenzie Bowers paced Kent City with 24 points, while Jenna Harrison added 18 and Zara Weber chipped in with 11.

MORLEY STANWOOD 58, HOLTON 17 – Karlee Bates and Adreanna Fitzgerald each led the Red Devils (1-8) with five points apiece during a tough offensive night.

WHITE CLOUD 42, HESPERIA 31 – The Panthers were led by Emily Bayle with 16 points, 11 rebounds and six steals while Alyssa Miller had six points and seven rebounds. Hesperia (2-6, 0-3) trailed 10-5 after the first quarter, 25-17 at halftime and 33-24 through three quarters.

PENTWATER 29, MASON COUNTY EASTERN 24 – The Falcons blanked Mason County Eastern 7-0 during the first quarter, trailed 11-10 at halftime and led 20-15 after three quarters. Terra Cluchey led Pentwater with 11 points while Julia Hall added seven points and a couple key steals in the final stanza. Taylor Wilkinson led the way in rebounding for the Falcons with nine.
