Mona Shores sophomore guard Jarvis Walker scored a game-high 27 points to lead the Sailors to a 67-63 win over Western Michigan Christian in non-league boys basketball on Tuesday.
The Sailors built a 29-19 lead at halftime and held a 48-36 edge after the third quarter. But WMC stormed back in the fourth before Mona Shores sealed the win.
Mona Shores’ James Gilbert added nine points and Chris Johnson chipped in with eight points while Kolbe Trovinger contributed with six points. Walker finished with eight assists.
Tyler VanBeek and Tyler Somers both tallied 17 points apiece to lead WMC.
