Logan Karnemaat scored the go-ahead basket with 2:30 left as Fremont mounted a 43-41 comeback win over Reed City in CSAA league action on Friday.

Karnemaat, a 6-8 junior center, tallied a double-double with 17 points and 14 rebounds, along with five blocked shots.

Reed City led 14-8 after one quarter, 21-19 at halftime and 35-29 after three quarters, before the Packers roared back. Riley Krim added six points for Fremont, which is now 11-2 overall and 8-1 in conference play.

ALLIANCE LEAGUE

HOLLAND CALVARY 55, FRUITPORT CALVARY CHRSITIAN 48 – The Eagles fought from beginning to end but fell by single digits for the fifth game this season. Calvary Christian played to an even 19-19 tie in the first quarter after trailing by nine. The third quarter hurt the Eagles the most, when they fell behind 44-33. Ben Zelenka and Zach Zehr each scored 13 points for the Eagles and  Luke Anhalt added 12.

WEST MICHIGAN D

BALDWIN 68, PENTWATER 61 – Pentwater fell behind early and could not catch up. Pentwater (10-4, 6-3) trailed 24-18 at the end of the first quarter and 31-28 at the half. Baldwin pulled away in the third quarter with an 18-11 advantage. Iain Stewart led the Falcons with 19 points.
