The Fruitport Calvary Christian girls basketball team captured at least a share of the Alliance title, defeating Holland Black River 51-42 on Tuesday night.

The Eagles, who have now won six straight league titles and 40 consecutive
conference games, are now 13-3 on the season and 6-0 in league play.

Kelsey Richards paced Fruitport Calvary Christian with 30 points, 10 rebounds and seven assists.

The Eagles also received contributions from Brionna Johnson with 10 points and 19 rebounds and Lizzie Cammenga with 11 points.

KENT CITY 59, WELLSPRING 23 – Zara Weber scored 17 points to lead the Eagles to a win on senior night. Kent City (14-3, 7-0) led 14-7 after the first quarter, then shut out Wellspring in the second quarter to take a 34-7 lead into the half. Kenzie Bowers added 16 points for Kent City.

ZION CHRISTIAN 50, MUSKEGON CATHOLIC CENTRAL 44 – Hannah Ladd led the Crusaders with 10 points on the evening. MCC (10-6, 4-3) trailed 23-19 at the half and 33-28 through three quarters. Isabelle Bertolone added eight points for the Crusaders.
