The Oakridge girls basketball team held on to defeat Grand Rapids Covenant Christian 44-43 on Tuesday in a non-league game.

The Eagles were led by Sophia Wiard with 24 points, seven assists and five rebounds.

Oakridge held an 11-10 advantage after the first quarter, led 18-16 at halftime and had a 28-25 advantage heading into the final stanza.

The Eagles finished the regular season with a 17-3 overall record.

MONTAGUE 50, MUSKEGON CATHOLIC CENTRAL 42- Grace Meachum poured in 21 points on Tuesday night to lead the Wildcats to a non-league victory. Montague led 11-7 after the first and pushed its advantage to 23-14 heading into the halftime break. The Crusaders cut into that lead in the third to five points as the Wildcats led 37-32 heading into the fourth. The Wildcats finished the game with a 17-10 fourth quarter run. Montague is now 10-9 on the season, while the Crusaders are 11-8 overall and 5-4 in league play. Liz Isom paced Muskegon Catholic with eight points while Talia Tyler and Lauren Doriot each chipped in with seven.

HART 71, MASON COUNTY EASTERN 46- The Pirates used a strong second quarter to pull away towards a victory on Tuesday night. The Pirates led 16-11 after one quarter, then pushed the advantage to sixteen points, entering halftime with a 40-24 lead. Hart had a 54-32 advantage heading into the final quarter. Yasmine Colon led the Pirates (8-12) with 21 points while Landry Tate chipped in with 14.
