Kent City girls basketball tops Kenowa Hills, Kenzie Bowers scores 21

Kenzie Bowers scored 21 points to lead Kent City past Kenowa Hills at the Grand Rapids DeltaPlex Arena on Saturday in non-conference girls basketball. 

The Eagles jumped out to a 16-12 first quarter lead and led 29-20 at half.

Zara Weber also led Kent City with 13 points, Jenna Harrison scored 12 points while Audrey Dreyer added six points and Lauren Freeland chipped in five points.

Kent City improves to 13-3 overall and hosts Wellspring Prep on Tuesday for a 7 p.m. tipoff.
