The Muskegon Community College men’s basketball team struck fire in their 107-69 crushing of Kalamazoo Valley Community College on Thursday night.

Daryl Kirkland led the way for MCC with a triple-double 12 points, 11 rebounds and 12 assists.
Miguel Mahan scored a game-high 19 points while Dylan Mulder scored 16 points and Sergio Diaz added 13 points. Dequaveon Stuckey and Aaron Veil had 11 points apiece and Josh Smith chipped in 10 points.
The Jayhawks have won three out of their last four games and are now 12-13 overall and tied for fifth place in the Western Conference with a 9-6 record. They host Mid Michigan on Saturday for a 3 p.m. start.
