Freshman Kaleb Mitchelson poured in 25 points to lead Reeths-Puffer past Kenowa Hills 65-50 on Friday in an O-K Black basketball encounter.

Reeths-Puffer (7-7) led 15-8 after the first quarter and 29-22 at the half, then increased its lead in the second half.

Emcee Williams added 12 points for the Rockets.

MUSKEGON 78, FRUITPORT 23 – The Big Reds (10-3, 7-0) dominated all four quarters against Fruitport in O-K Black action. Muskegon led 25-2 after the first quarter, 53-10 at halftime and 67-21 heading to the fourth. Edriese Jenkins led the way with 20 points and eight rebounds while Clinton Jefferson Jr. and Eonte Tornes each added 10 points for Muskegon. Cameron Oleen led Fruitport with seven points.

GRAND RAPIDS CATHOLIC 59, SPRING LAKE 40 – The Lakers (11-3, 5-2) had their five-game winning streak snapped against the 9th ranked team in the state. Catholic Central led 15-13 at the end of the first quarter and 28-21 at the half. The Cougars broke the game wide open in the third quarter with a 21-9 advantage. Jack VanWingen led Spring Lake with 12 points while Griffin Lorimer added nine.
