Spring Lake boys overcome sluggish first half, roll past Sparta in O-K Blue action

Despite only leading by four points at halftime, the Spring Lake boys basketball team rolled past Sparta 50-25 in an O-K Blue Conference game on Wednesday.

The Lakers, now 12-3 overall and 6-2 in the conference, sealed the victory by outscoring the Spartans 25-6 in the second half. Sparta only managed one field goal in the final two quarters.

The Lakers were led by big man Sam Johnson with 16 points while Griffin Lorimer added 10.
