The Oakridge girls basketball team captured its 15th victory of the season with a 43-29 non-league win over Ludington on Tuesday.
The Eagles led 10-9 after one quarter, then took control with a 14-4 run in the second to take a 23-14 halftime lead.
Sophia Wiard led all scorers with 23 points and 10 rebounds while Brie Pastor added eight points for Oakridge, which is now 15-3 on the season.
Mackenzie Luce and Mackenzie Howe had 10 and 7 points, respectively, for the Orioles.
LAKEVIEW 47, HESPERIA 33 – A tough fourth quarter resulted in a loss for Hesperia on Tuesday. The Panthers trailed 9-5 after the first quarter and led 20-19 at halftime, but Lakeview got hot in the second half and led 35-26 by the end of the third quarter. Emily Bayle paced Hesperia (4-12, 1-7) with 16 points, eight rebounds and seven steals while Alyssa Miller added 13 points and snagged eight rebounds.
