Whitehall didn’t let a low scoring battle stop it from beating rival Montague in girls basketball on Wednesday. The Vikings beat the Wildcats 30-21. 
The Vikings held Montague to single digits each quarter and led 10-6 after the opening eight minutes. Whitehall led 13-11 at halftime and 19-17 to start the fourth when it outscored the Wildcats 11-4.
Greta Hosticka paced Whitehall with 12 points and five steals while Abby Seeger had six steals and seven rebounds.
Grace Meachem led Montague with 10 points.
