The one-two combination of Isabel Hammond and Analiese Postema opened the Ravenna girls soccer season with a bang on Wednesday.

Hammond and Postema each tallied a hat trick in the Bulldogs’ 8-0 shutout win over Wellspring Prep in a non-league girls soccer matchup. Hammond also piled up five assists while Postema set up a pair of goals.

The two led the charge in Ravenna’s first four goals as Hammond tallied the opening goal off the Postema helper. Postema followed with her first goal of the season off the Hammond assist. The pair repeated the scoring order to put Bulldogs well in control of the game.

Ravenna was also led by Hayley Dekker with two goals.

Goalkeepers Bailey Walker and Hollie Griffith combined for the shutout in the Ravenna victory.
