The Mason County Central boys basketball team captured a Class C district title, defeating White Cloud 62-46 on Friday night.

The Spartans trailed 8-7 after the first quarter, led 22-19 at halftime and had a 37-28 advantage through three stanzas.

Jeffrey Carrier paced Mason County Central with 16 points, eight rebounds and four assists, while Ty Sniegowski added 16 points, four assists and four steals.

Tyler Bromley also contributed for the Spartans with 15 points, 14 rebounds and five steals.

Mason County Central will face regional host Beal City on Monday in the Class C regional semifinals. Tipoff is slated for 5:30 p.m.
