The WMCC and Grant softball teams each won one game in a twin bill on Monday.

WMCC won the opening game by a 10-0 margin then fell to the Tigers 14-9 in the nightcap.

The performance of the day came from WMCC pitcher Maria Sanocki, who tossed a no-hitter in the opening game.

Grant’s Alissa Diltz picked up the win in the night cap.

Leading WMCC for the day offensively was Rebecca Ter Haar with three hits. Sanocki added two knocks and three RBI, while Catherin Bradford-Royle connected on a home run.

Carlie Stray led Grant’s offense with three hits and four RBIs. Rose Castro and Allie Dubbink each added two hits apiece for the Tigers.
