Fruitport tennis sweeps Kenowa Hills in O-K Black match; Whitehall edges out Grant.

Fruitport beat Grand Rapids Kenowa Hills 8-0 in girls tennis on Wednesday in an O-K Black match up. 

Sweeping at singles for Fruitport were Trinity Busscher (No. 1), Haleigh Winskas (No. 2), Olivia Parling (No. 3) and Hannah Kelly (No. 4).

The Trojans were led in doubles action by Ashleigh Welty and Emily Dirkse (No. 1),  Rachel Weiland and Hannah LaBash (No. 2), Katie Dirkse and Alison Blakeman (No. 3) and Summer Woodring and Audrey Split  (No. 4).

WHITEHALL 5, GRANT 3 – The Vikings fought off Grant by taking 3 of 4 matches in doubles play. Whitehall doubles teams were led by Brooke Bachelder and Brooke Sheesley (No. 1),  McKenna Hepler and Jaden Mikkelson (No. 2) and Morgan DeRose and Lily Groessl. Whitehall posted a pair of wins during singles action as  Vanessa Heylmun (No. 1) and  Kenedy Woodring (No. 3) won their matches.
