The Grand Haven baseball team swept a pair of games from Montague on Monday in a non-league doubleheader.

Grand Haven won the first game 12-6. The scored was tied 4-4 until the Bucs rallied late to capture the victory.

Madison Shumaker was the winner on the mound, tossing four innings while giving up two runs on six hits. Shumaker led the offense with three hits.

In the nightcap, Grand Haven collected 12 hits en route to a 12-2 win.

Ashlyn Hall had three hits while Shumaker, Haley Alfred, and Baby Hang all had two. Shumaker again pitched the victory, allowing two runs on eight hits while striking out three in five innings.
