The Montague baseball team picked up a doubleheader sweep against Hart Friday.

The Wildcats blanked Hart 11-0 in the opening game, then won the nightcap by a 5-2 margin.

Remington Schneider was outstanding on the mound in Game 1 for Montague, striking out 13 batters out of the 15 he faced.

Luke Marsh led the team with three hits and four RBIs, while Nick Stever added two hits and an RBI.

Johnny Monette had a double and two RBIs.

In the nightcap, Stever picked up the win as he sat down ten batters.

Sebastian Archer, Brennan Schwarz and Braden Johnson had 2 hits.

The Wildcats finshed in second place in the West Michigan Conference with an 11-3 record and were 18-10 overall on the season.
