The Muskegon Catholic Central baseball team split a doubleheader with state power Frankfort on Saturday at Cornerstone University.

Frankfort won the opener 4-0, when All-State pitcher Kirk Myers held MCC to one hit.

The Crusaders got even in the second game, grabbing a 4-1 victory. Pitcher Heath Cory stood out for MCC, allowing no earned runs while scattering four hits and striking out four.

Max Price had two hits and two RBIs for the Crusaders. Riley St. Amour added a two-run single Zach Fooks had a double and made several strong defensive plays.

MCC is now 13-6 on the season.
