Ravenna and Hesperia split a doubleheader on Friday in non-conference baseball.
Ravenna won the opener 6-1. Pitcher Conner Kilbourne got the win, tossing five innings while 
scattering three hits. Matt Johnson and Caleb McCullough each pitched an inning of scoreless relief. Nick Lieffers led Ravenna at the plate with two doubles and an RBI.
Hesperia rebounded in the nightcap, winning 10-8. Ravenna was hurt by errors, walks and hit batters. The Bulldogs rallied late with three runs in the seventh, but it wasn’t enough.
Ravenna is now 9-6 on the season. No record or stats were available for Hesperia.
