Amy England had a huge night, recording four goals and two assists to lead the Shelby girls soccer team to an 8-2 victory over Hart on Monday in West Michigan Conference action.

Claire Peterson. Gabby Brito, Justice Green and Sophie Clark score the other goals for Shelby.

Elayna Dodson and Jillian Hemminga scored for Hart.

Shelby improved to 7-4 overall and 2-3 in conference play.

WESTERN MICHIGAN CHRISTIAN 3, WHITEHALL 2 – The Warriors trailed 2-0 before rallying for the victory.

WMC tied the game with a pair of goals by freshman Natalie Riksen, then got the game-winner with a goal by Anna Sytsema from about 25 yards out.

Alex Fleener and Ellie Stevens scored for Whitehall.

WMC is now 5-8 on the season.

NORTH MUSKEGON 5, GR COVENANT CHRISTIAN 0 – Ferris Mueller scored three goals while Megan Stroka and Hope Johnson each had single tallies for the Norse.

Gwenna Pitts contributed two assists while Johnson, Haley Slorf and Sophia Schotts each had one. Bodie Collins got the win in goal for the Norse with five saves.

FREMONT 5, CHIPPEWA HILLS 0 – Bre Harris and Holly Kortge each scored two goals for the Packers, who improved to 6-3-1 overall and 5-3 in the CSAA.

Alex Langley scored the final goal for Fremont, while Harris and Natalie Jamieson each had assists. The Packers outshot Chippewa Hills 17-1.
