PARCHMENT 5, REETHS-PUFFER 0 – The Rockets failed to cross the plate at the Blue-Chip invitational tournament on Saturday. Payleigh Primmer led the Rockets on the mound, tossing four innings and striking out three batters. In relief, Ashlyn Gonzalez pitched three innings with one strikeout. Leading the offense for the Rockets was Avery Sheffer with two hits.

BYRON CENTER 6, REETHS-PUFFER 0 – Makayla Thompson was strong for the Rockers with seven strikeouts in four innings of pitched. Ashlyn Gonzalez relieved for one inning, striking out one. Reeths-Puffer was led offensively by MaKayla Johnson and Rylee Rzepka with one hit apiece.

RAVENNA 10, MASON COUNTY CENTRAL 1 – Morgan Ahfeld struck out seven batters for the Spartans while Andee Carter added three hits offensively for MCC and Adeline VanNoller chipped in with two singles and an RBI.

MASON COUNTY CENTRAL 15, RAVENNA 2 – Leading the Spartans on the mound was Adeline VanNoller, who had struck out three batters in her four innings of action. Morgan Ahfeld also pitched and struck out seven of the 11 batters faced. MCC was led offensively by Andee Carter with three singles and three runs scored. Ahfeld added four singles, two RBIs and four runs scored for MCC and Katelyn Carr chipped in with three hits and three RBIs.

PORTLAND 11, MASON COUNTY CENTRAL 0 – Morgan Ahfeld retired four batters and Andee Carter, Ahfeld and Lindsay Billows all had hits for the Spartans in a tough loss.

MANISTEE 5, MASON COUNTY CENTRAL 2 – Morgan Ahfeld again led the Spartans with seven strikeouts while only allowing nine hits in total. Lindsay Billows had a nice game offensively for MCC with one base hit and an RBI, while Andee Carter added an RBI double and Savannah Bice had one single.

HESPERIA 7, FREMONT 1 – Shelby Follet pitched her fifth win of the season for the Panthers. Hesperia scored six of its seven runs during the first two innings of play. Ellie Palmer led the Panther offense with a two-run homer while Kaecie Hornsby went 3-for-3 with an RBI.

HESPERIA 6, NORTH MUSKEGON 5 – Ellie Palmer won her seventh game of the season for the Panthers. Lilah Majersky led offensively for Hesperia with two hits and an RBI while Kaecie Hornsby had the game-winning hit that scored Zoe Bancroft. The Panthers are now 15-9 on the season and 8-8 in league play.
