The Montague baseball squad captured a Division 3 regional title on Saturday at Kent City.

The Wildcats defeated Grand Rapids NorthPointe Christian 7-3 in the regional finals after blanking Delton Kellogg 11-0 in the semifinal contest.

Montague was led in the finals by Remington Schneider with four hits and two RBIs, while Zachary Buchberger added two hits and Luke Marsh chipped in with three runs scored.

Nick Stever picked up the victory in the finals, allowing seven hits in seven innings while striking out five batters.

Marsh pitched the win in the semifinal contest, allowing two runs in six scoreless innings while striking out five batters.

Sebastian Archer led Montague offensively in the semis with two triples and two runs scored.
