A sloppy six error night led the West Michigan Whitecaps to a 10-6 loss at Lake County on Monday.

Brady Policelli and Brock Deatherage led the Whitecaps with two hits each while Jordan Pearce and Christopher Proctor each had two RBIs.

Whitecaps starter Dane Myers was knocked out of the game early, allowing six earned runs on five hits in only 2/3 of an inning.

The Whitecaps are now 45-44 overall and 9-10 in the second half of the season, four games behind first place Bowling Green in the Midwest League Eastern Division.

West Michigan will return home on Wednesday when it begins a three-game home series versus Wisconsin.
