The Fremont football team had a tough night on Thursday, falling 44-6 to Reed City in non-league action on its home field.

The game went badly for the Packers from the beginning. They gave up six touchdowns in the first half and trailed 44-0 at halftime.

Running back Kane Wilding broke the shutout with a six-yard touchdown run in the third quarter.

Wilding ledĀ Fremont on offense and defense, rushing for 107 yards and making four tackles.

Fremont falls to 0-2 on the season. They play Big Rapids next week.
