The Fruitport Trojans went 3-2 on Monday night, winning the silver division at the Grand Haven Tournament.

The Trojans defeated three teams; Zeeland East, Leeland, and West Michigan Christian.

Leading Fruitport at the tournament was Kylie Oberlin with 35 kills, and Rachel Paulson with seven aces. Leading the defensive side of the net was Trinity Busscher with 45 digs.

WMC posted a 1-4 record in the invitational.

The Warriors fell to Northville, Fruitport and Traverse City Central in pool play before falling to Leland in the silver bracket semifinals.

WMC closed out the tournament with a two-set win over Zeeland West.

The Warriors were led by Claudia Kingma with 25 kills, 32 digs and seven aces, while Anna Sytsema added 19 kills and 28 digs. Chloe Mitchell chipped in with 125 assists.

WMC is now 16-7-1 on the season.
