Who wants to get two University of Michigan football tickets for $1? You can be that fortunate today at the LSJ’s High School Football Kickoff Party! 
If you want an opportunity to snag the Wolverine tickets, be at Bella Maria’s Event Center. The LSJ kickoff beings at 4 p.m. and the winner of the Michigan tickets will be drawn at 7 p.m.

This year’s preview section contains visions of 22 area teams, increased from 19 last season, along with four great feature stories.
This year’s cover story feature is a tribute to the 2017 state champion Big Reds.
Coaches from around the area will be in attendance at Bella Maria’s, too. Matt Koziak of Mona Shores, Steve Czerwon of Muskegon Catholic, Kyle Jewett of Reeths-Puffer, Joe Tanis of Orchard View and new Fruitport coach Nate Smith, will be all be in attendance to talk about the upcoming season. Grand Haven coach Joe Nelson will also be interviewed, as will Cary Harger the Oakridge head coach. Holton coach Jack Nummerdor and Muskegon Heights head coach Van Parker will be there and maybe even more.
