The Muskegon Community College volleyball squad cruised past Lansing Community College in three straight sets on Tuesday.

The Jayhawks won by service scores of 25-20, 25-8 and 25-22 margins.

Julie Brown paced MCC with eight kills while Amber Jacobs contributed with 12 digs, five aces and four kills. Katie Veihl chipped in with 24 assists and seven digs.

The Jayhawks, who are now 4-2 on the season and 2-0 in conference play, will face Grand Rapids Community College on Thursday.
