Jenna Core helped pace the Lakers to a 4-1 day at Reeths-Puffer tournament

The Spring Lake volleyball team went 4-1 at the Reeths-Puffer tournament on Saturday, defeating Flint Powers Catholic 25-12, 25-20, Reeths-Puffer 25-14, 25-9, North Muskegon 25-21, 25-18, and Mona Shores 25-16, 25-18, before falling to North Muskegon 26-24, 28-26 in bracket play.

Jenna Core paced Spring Lake with 39 kills, 27 digs and 11 blocks while Abbi Perkins added nine aces, nine blocks, 26 kills and 11 digs. Madeline Zenas added 105 assists, seven aces, and 21 digs for Spring Lake.
